Rebecca was born and raised in the rural suburbs of Long Island, New York. After obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and Behavioral Science from the University of Hartford, she spent 8 years teaching in the public school system of Massachusetts. In addition to teaching full time, Rebecca also gained hospitality experience working as a server, bartender and manager in one of the top sailing bars in coastal New England. During this time, she earned her Masters Degree in Education at Salem State University.
After far too many blizzards, Rebecca moved to the sunshine state in 2015. During this time, Rebecca was employed with Hillsborough County Public Schools, where her ability to work with diverse learners and implement innovative methods of teaching was widely recognized. Rebecca also worked in various restaurant establishments in the Tampa Bay area.
In August 2021, Rebecca received the opportunity to join the ReBuilt Meals team in the Client Relations Department. As a Client Relations Specialist, Rebecca provides on-going support to ensure the client experience is seamless and convenient. Along with being a Client Relations Specialist, Rebecca is also the Team Culture Lead at ReBuilt Meals. Within this role, Rebecca facilitates team functions, recognizes employee achievements, and streamlines different projects that align with ReBuilt Meals’ Core Values. The promotion of diversity and focus on inclusivity continuously increases engagement while promoting community within the ReBuilt Meals team. Finally, Rebecca actively collaborates with the Executive Leadership team to streamline and strengthen different processes including new hire onboarding, professional development and employee benefits.
When she isn’t planning her upcoming wedding, Rebecca enjoys relaxing at home with her fiancé, Tony, and their two tabby cats, Harrison and Chance.
